Comparison Between Robot Stub Axle And Local Stub Axle

ROBOT STUB AXLE

ROBOT STUB AXLE

Stub axle holds carrier and wheel hub together, allowing the latter fitted with wheel to rotate, supported by bearings

Forged material for stub axle gives better strength and the EN series steel as per British Standard 970 is the ideal material. Complete dimensional accuracy is ensured by machining on CNC Turning Centre. Each and every major dimension including threads are ascertained at every stage of production so that consumer gets the right product from Robot always. Further it is subjected to induction hardening to the specified values of hardness and case depth. Finally grinding on three diameters is done to micron accuracy where bearing are fitted.

In JCB aftermarket all the JCB parts suppliers in INDIA sell Stub Axles made of mild steelbars because their main purpose of most JCB spare parts manufacturers is to make cheap price product hence they use mild steel bars from unspecified steel manufacturer’s instead of forging material, but it is very important to use correct specification forged material to manufacture a correct JCB part because any backhoe loader part needs to be robust because of its heavy load working. THIS IS ANOTHER QUALITY PRODUCT FROM ROBOT DOMAIN

LOCAL STUB AXLE

LOCAL STUB AXLE

Prone to bend and sheer. Dimensions not accurate-bearing fitment troublesome.

Raw material is Mild steel procured from market. No strength to withstand the necessary load. All dimensions are made by ordinary lathe which do not guarantee accuracy of any parameter including threads. Not subjected to induction hardening. Bearing dimensions are not maintained -lead to fitment problem and subsequent failure.
